Bollywood star’s wife arrested

Akshay Kumar’s wife and actress Twinkle Khanna was arrested by the Vakola police in Mumbai last evening. However, the lady was released on bail a couple of hours later on paying a bail amount of Rs. 950. Twinkle was accompanied by her lawyer to the police station. However, Akshay, who is also an accused in the case, did not appear because he was out of town shooting for a film.
It may be recalled that a social worker filed a case
against Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna for obscene behavior in public. At the Lakme Fashion Show, Akshay had asked Twinkle to unbutton his jeans and this sparked off the controversy.
