The Film Bouquets for the coming months...

Since the day the producers-multiplex ban was lifted, movies started pouring in the theatres and that too, one appealing than the other. The audiences are flooded with a variety of movies, every Friday.
This Friday, we have two movies alluring us to the big screens. On one hand we have fun-filled, vibrant looking ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ featuring handsome, chocolate boy Ranbir and bubbly, sweet looking Katrina Kaif. While on other hand a stark reality is waiting to unfold with ‘Jail’, through an attractive, grim Neil Mukesh and charming Mugdha Godse. After ‘Andaaz Apna Apna’, director Rajkumar Santoshi is back to the comedy scenario with APKGK after a long gap whereas National Award winner Madhur Bhandarkar as set out to make a difference by showcasing the lives of prisoners. Both these films, each of a different genre, look promising for the Box Office.
However these two are not the only rivals in the field. This month we also have three biggies, among others. A nostalgic rainy film; a remainder of the 2005 Mumbai deluge – Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Tum Mile’. Followed by, a movie on terrorism, laced by sizzling chemistry of B-town hottest couple – Karan Johar’s ‘Kurbaan’. Then, there is a comedy hungama from Priyadarshan and his comedy star team – ‘De Dana Dan’.
Come December, and the choosing becomes more tough. ‘Paa’, ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’, ‘Rocket Singh – Salesman of the Year’, ‘3 Idiots’… the star cast of each of these are the USP for the movies. Each of these is big bannered as well. While one can look forward to Big B’s child act, we can also wait to catch Shah Rukh for this year in ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’. Ranbir Kapoor turns a Sardarji for Yash Raj Films as Rocket Singh; on the other hand Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor come together for first time in Vidhu Vinod Chopra Production. The year would thus end with enough number of laudable movies, but one has to wait to see which of these movies takes away a big piece of cake from the cash counters and also from the public.
The year 2010 will also open to a grander list. January has much awaited Rakesh Roshan’s ‘Kites’, starring Hrithik Roshan, Kangna Ranaut and Hollywood’s Barbara Mori. Then Ram Gopal Verma’s ‘Rann’, followed by Shahid-Genelia starrer ‘Chance Pe Dance’. According to sources, one might also get to watch Salman Khan scripted and Anil Sharma’s directorial ‘Veer’ and Uday Chopra-Priyanka Chopra starrer ‘Pyaar Impossible’ in this month. We can see Vivek Oberoi back in action after a long time with Kumar S Taurani’s ‘Prince – Its Showtime!’
February is not far behind in giving exclusivity! Who will forget Karan Johar’s ‘My Name is Khan’0? The comeback of Bollywood’s favourite jodi – Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol! And if all goes as planned, in the same month, one will be introduced to a multi-starrer ‘Teen Patti’ – a movie that brings big names like Amitabh Bachchan and Sir Ben Kingsley in one, beside other remarkable stars. Farhan Aktar’s thriller ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’ will also be a competitor here. Now, with this list for the time being, we can assure you a fabulous movie roller-coaster ride hereon… The coming months are full of dhamakedaar films, just waiting to explode on screens! Let’s set up the countdown and wait to watch who wins the screen race!
