The Hindi version of Bodyguard will have Salman Khan playing the lead role. Tis movie is produced by Atul Agnihotri, brother-in-law of Salman. When it is Salman’s home production, there is always a speculation that he would choose Katrina Kaif to play the leading lady and Atul was thinking on the same lines. However, sources say that Salman feels that Deepika Padukone would be more apt for the role and discussions are on with her.
It has to be mentioned here that Deepika was approached to play the heroine in Ready, but finally it was Asin who bagged the role.
